Windows Mobile is Microsoft’s operating system for Pocket PC devices and smart phones. Mobile phones that use the Windows Mobile OS are made by a number of third-party manufacturers including Palm, HTC, Samsung and the popular HP iPaq line.
Windows Mobile, originally called Pocket PC, is a purpose-built mobile version of Microsoft’s Windows operating system. Originally launched in 2000, the system has developed into arguably the third most popular mobile phone operating system, behind the iPhone OS and Blackberry operating system. Windows Mobile supports Exchange server with added service from Good Technology, which Exchange3G provides.
